Description
The T-45 ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 Test Resolution Standard consist of 24 Sunburst Lines, 0.25mm x 30mm, with a center crosshair target area and three off-center vertical and horizontal Ronchi gratings. These features consist of 0.68cy/mm, 0.8cy/mm and 1.6cy/mm bars (which are then 17cy/mm, 20cy/mm and 40cy/mm after 25 X reduction).
The method of using the T-45 Test Resolution Standard consist of a calibrated 8 power telescope, preferably with a reticle, having a minimum aperture of 19mm for plano-spherical lenses and a minimum aperture of 7mm for plano-toric or plano-aspheric lenses, a method for holding the protector in the test position and the T-45 Test Resolution Standard test pattern. The test pattern should be mounted 10.67m from the objective lens of the telescope and have sufficient lighting to conduct the test.
