Personal Identity Verification Kits for Single Fingerprint Capture Devices

Per MITRE Technical Report (MTR060170R5) “Test Procedures For Verifying Image Quality Requirements for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Single Finger Capture Devices.” APPLIED IMAGE offers you the complete PIV product line. As specified within the document, five targets are required for the verification process. The individual pieces are available in a complete set (KIT configuration) or individually.
In support of the August 2004 issuance of Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) and the N.I.S.T. Federal Information Processing Standard-201 (FIPS-201) the Federal Bureau of Investigation developed the PIV Image Quality Specification. A single fingerprint capture device must comply with the PIV specifications (and complete the other specification steps) in order for the device to be placed on the FIPS-201 Approved List for purchase by Federal agencies.
